We feel your pain!

Over the last year I have talked to hundreds of people about distance
work. Mostly I heard a collective agony around change and a huge
outpouring of pain points. At NewWorkPlaces we have taken it upon
ourselves to try to ease this pain.

We believe that technological innovation needs to be partnered with
social and organizational innovation in order for it to be successful -
and you successful - by extension.

There are great people inventing great things beyond technology.
People like you and me, putting their minds to the problems of people,
technology and work. They are often under the radar and don’t get the
big PR or the big bucks for their inventiveness. But they are working on
them nonetheless. Working quietly - on new ideas, new theories, in
their garages, neighborhood coffee shops or other new work places.

We have been out there, looking for them. Searching out people whose
new ideas, innovations and skills can help you engage with this new
technology and be productive in new ways. Some we have found with
products or services that are fine just the way they are and we have
simply reframed them to this new work model. Others have allowed us
to work with them to adapt and tailor their offerings specifically for this
new way of work and work in new places.

And we are still looking. If you have an idea or know of others who
might, please contact us. This is a big job. It often feels like we are
boiling the ocean. Big changes, large shifts in the universe do.

To adapt another small occurrence with a big universe shift – each
small step of humans is one big step for humankind.
